David-Gabe Photography is a collaborative team that crafts portrait, product, editorial and fashion photographs among photographers David and Gabriel. Clients comprise of musicians, writers, authors, actors, models, designers and dancers, for public relations, non-commercial use, interviews, media events and marketing. However, their favorite clients are the regular folks who just once in a while need a really great photo of themselves. Who doesn't?!

David

 

David was raised in a family of literary and visual artists. Both his mother and older brother are writers; a Vietnamese poet and a published author of fiction in Canada, respectively. David is the great-nephew of Tkim Quynh, a French Vietnamese artist whose oil paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout Europe and Asia, and whom has been a great influence on David's passion for performance art and portrait photography.


Gabriel

Gabriel

Gabriel was raised on a sail-boat till the age of eleven all the way at 69 degrees north, next-door to the snowy hills of northern Norway. He grew up taking pictures and videos of him and his friends snowboarding while studying fine art and pursuing artistic avenues in drawing, performance and videography. The son of furniture and tapestry designers, Gabriel eventually found his passion in portrait photography, and has been building his international portfolio with his team ever since.
